Our Story

A Legacy of Elegance and Renewal

Mallard Hall Estate’s story is one of revival, vision, and grace. Originally built in the late 18th century and thoughtfully restored to its former grandeur, the estate now blends rich historic character with modern luxury.

From the restored architectural features to the seamless indoor-outdoor flow, every detail reflects a commitment to authenticity and refinement. Today, Mallard Hall stands as a sanctuary of Southern charm — cherished by guests seeking history, privacy, and elevated experiences.

Through Many Hands

The estate likely began as John Hume's 1,000-acre pre-emption in the late 18th century, but its ownership history is unclear due to smaller tracts. It changed hands so often that it was delisted from the National Registry in 1989. Today, much of the original federal-style architecture remains, along with an additional 7,000 square feet added during the Greenburg ownership.
